We've added search functions to our server. Try out the web site search

Acme's own high speed connection to the Internet backbone has been online
almost 60 days. Aside from a few minor system hiccups, the transition, while
laborious, has proceeded smoother than expected. Keeping our own connection
online has made us more keenly aware of traffic issues, routing and outages on
the Internet. During this time we've seen some major outages on the Internet as
a whole, as network growth explodes. Victims have included AOL, MCI and others.
Recently CNN and
C|Net have given the Internet growth issues
some good coverage. Check out their sites for current news on this and other
Internet and technology related issues.
Our backup web hosting is handled by Midwest
Data Exchange (MDEX), in Aberdeen, SD. Yes - South Dakota. MDEX is living
proof that even Corn Farmers need Internet Access. :) The guys at MDEX have
assisted us immensely, a thing we won't soon forget.
